Needy and mosque receive donations from Fadillah, Ibrahim

KUCHING: Fifteen needy individuals as well as the Darul Uyuun Surau received donations in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.

The presentation of the donations was held during the Ramadan Exploration Programme organised by the Satok Constituency Service Centre at the Darul Uyuun Surau last night (Mar 17).

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof who was in attendance had the opportunity to present the donations to the needy.

Meanwhile, Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki presented a donation to the mosque committee which was represented by its chairman Abu Bakar Puteh.

Earlier, Fadillah and Ibrahim also joined congregants for Isyak and Tarawih prayers at the mosque.

Among those present were Satok Constituency Religious Bureau chairman Sarbini Abang, political secretary to the Premier Abdul Samad Gany, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok Branch Women’s chief Salina Mohd Salleh, Kuching Division Temenggong Abdullah Jamel, and Pemanca Rosli Sahari.
