KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia recently celebrated outstanding achievements and excellence in customer service at the Retail Partner of the Year 2023 Award.
The award ceremony, held at Resorts World Awana in Genting Highlands, aimed to recognise the commitment of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s retail partners to raising standards of excellence in a highly competitive automotive market. Hap Seng Star Bukit Tinggi clinched the Retail Partner of the Year title.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia chief executive officer and president Amanda Zhang said last year marked a transition phase for the company, shifting towards renewed focus on performance and excellence.
The Retail Partner of the Year Awards serve as a testament to Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s focus on customer-centric practices and business excellence, strengthening our brand’s standing in the luxury automotive market, she added.
“Our retail partners are the backbone of our operational success. Their dedication has been crucial to our progression and the embodiment of our brand promise – to offer the Best Products, the Best Service, and the Best Customer Experience.
“The award ceremony, set against the backdrop of opulence and grandeur, recognised leading retail partners for their outstanding contributions. We also took this opportunity to reiterate our commitment to continuous improvement and investment in our robust network of retail partners across the nation, ensuring the creation of value for consumers.”
The awards ceremony consisted of six categories, each showcasing the retail partners’ operational excellence in different areas.
These included Best in Customer Services, Best in Financial Services, Best in Business Excellence, Best in Sales, Best in Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) 5 Star Rater, and the coveted Retail Partner of The Year 2023.
Hap Seng Star Bukit Tinggi particularly stood out, earning the prestigious title of Retail Partner of The Year, along with victories in the Best in CSI 5 Star Rater award and the Best in Financial Services, signaling strong performance across various parameters.
Meanwhile, NZ Wheels Johor Bahru took home the Best in Sales award, while Hap Seng Star Setia Alam bagged the Best in Customer Service award, and Cycle & Carriage Bintang (Northern) Juru/Bukit Tengah won the Best in Business Excellence category.
Looking ahead, Zhang reiterated Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s commitment to both its retail partners and the consistent enhancement of the customer journey.
She noted the company’s expansive retail network in the premium sector across Malaysia, encompassing 30 authorised retailers nationwide.
