KUCHING: Registration for the Central Database Hub (PADU) is still ongoing in Sarawak.
The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) Sarawak announced on its official Facebook page today (Mar 23) that the public can visit PADU counters open across the state.
“For Sarawakians, you may visit a PADU counter open at the National Information Dissemination Centre (NaDi) and the department’s nearby offices,” said DOSM.
It also noted that online updates are possible on the PADU website at www.padu.gov.my.
“Let’s come together to participate in PADU. The cooperation and commitment from everyone are crucial for the success of Malaysia’s MADANI aspirations,” it added.
In the same announcement, the department shared a list of physical PADU counters available across the state, by division, for the period from March 18 to 24.
DOSM Sarawak also said that the Malaysian government launched PADU on January 2 as a single platform aimed at being the government’s primary source for targeted subsidy distribution and aid disbursement.
“Therefore, all Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above are required to update their household information and individual profiles in the PADU system.”
“With only nine days left until the PADU update deadline, we hope that everyone will fully cooperate to ensure its success,” it said.
Meanwhile, the registration counters are open in Serian, Sri Aman, Mukah, Sibu, Sarikei, Kapit, Bintulu, Samarahan, Miri, Limbang, Betong, and Kuching.
