Julius Ng Hui Fook, a sales and marketing staff at EE Wan Trading Company, mans a stall selling an assortment of peanuts with distinctive packaging and prices at Aeon Mall Kuching Central.
“We are actually a wholesaler for Camel-branded assorted peanuts. We supply them to malls across Kuching.
“For Ramadan, we packed some of our classic peanuts variety, mainly pistachio, roasted cashew nuts, baked cashew nuts and natural almond, into cookie jars to better suit the festive season.
“Furthermore, we also prepared multiple discounts along with bags containing many smaller sized peanut packages for sale to let our customers get more value for their money.”
Julius mentioned that this is the company’s first time setting up a stall for Ramadan at Aeon Mall Kuching Central.
“Our company has set up stalls during other festive seasons like Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Christmas, where we would order and sell products based on the season’s theme.
“With the arrival of our Ramadan cookies stock, we will shift our focus to selling them, and we highly recommend our customers to purchase our peanuts, especially the cocktail mix bag and smoked almond.”
Apart from selling peanuts and festive cookies, the stall also sells an assortment of cuttlefish snacks for customers interested in adding variety to their selection of Ramadan snacks to try.
The peanut stand sells hampers of different sizes as well, ranging from RM70 to RM250, with each containing a packet of the company’s recommended peanut assortment and random cuttlefish snack flavour.
As for their assorted peanuts, customers can get a packet of peanuts from as low as RM4 to RM46 depending on their preferences while prices for Ramadan tidbits range from RM12 to RM30.
The stall operates daily from 10 am to 10 pm on the first floor, centre wing of Aeon Mall Kuching Central.
