KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar participated in a breaking-of-fast ceremony with the the personnel of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Sarawak Contingent at the Al-Mujahiddin Mosque, Tabuan Jaya Police Housing Complex here, yesterday (Apr 5).
The event marks an annual activity of the Governor throughout the month of Ramadan to support external agencies.
Wan Junaidi was also accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi,
He then performed the Maghrib, Isha, and Tarawih prayers together with approximately 200 police officers.
Among those present were the Sarawak Commissioner of Police CP Datuk Mancha Ata; Sarawak Deputy Commission of Police DCP Datuk Ibrahim Darusl; and Sarawak Special Branch chief SAC Mohd Taufik Toh Abdullah; Sarawak Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department chief SAC Lukas Aket.
