KUCHING: The Political Secretary to the Premier, Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman, has distributed 4,000 promotional vouchers for fresh meat and chicken purchases at the “Semarak Syawal Agro Madani @ Medan Niaga Satok (MNS)” programme, from April 8-9.
“We have proposed a programme like this where we provide vouchers to recipients to buy meat and chicken. We know that as Eid approaches, these ingredients are commonly and abundantly used by our community.
“Therefore, with these RM5 and RM3 vouchers, we believe it will help families celebrate Eid and at the same time save on their expenses.
“We have prepared 4,000 vouchers to distribute to the community around Kuching,” he told reporters at the programme on Monday (Apr 8).
Also present were the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Hadi Abdul Kadir, the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) Sarawak director Ramli Mat Sani and other officials.
