SIBU: Sarawak Orphan Welfare Association (Peryatim) Sibu chairman Dato Mohamad Yusnar Matalie recently hosted a joyous Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at his residence on Jalan Permai Timur.
The event saw Yusnar distributing ‘duit raya’ to guests. Members of the Perguruan Seni Silat Helang Harimau were among the attendees extending Raya greetings to him.
He said that Peryatim Sibu will also host Aidilfitri open house at the Juma’ani Tuanku Haji Bujang Welfare Complex in Taman Desa Kemuyang on April 27 and expected to be graced by the Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development, Datuk Dr. Annuar Rapaee, who will attend as the guest of honour.
The complex currently houses 50 children, with 30 males and 20 females.
