KUCHING: Domino’s Pizza has made its long-awaited entry into Sarawak, with the launch of three new outlets in Kuching.
This is the first time the brand has launched three stores on the same day, on Friday (May 3).
The major opening event, held at Domino’s Metro City here, drew fans of all ages to the brand’s first-ever family and friends funfair for Sarawakians.
Linda Hassan, Group Chief Marketing Officer at Domino’s Pizza Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia, said she was excited about entering the new market and applauded the team’s efforts to ensure a successful debut.
“The company intends to provide clients in Sarawak with an exceptional pizza experience, incorporating unique features such as free delivery and the opportunity to place orders up to two weeks in advance.”
She stated that Domino’s is expanding into Sarawak, aiming to create employment opportunities for locals and contribute to the local economy.
Linda expressed her commitment to enriching the lives of the community and welcoming more team members.
Located in Metro City which is the 270th store, Tabuan (271st store), and Jalan Green (272nd store), the stores have officially begun serving customers their delicious freshly baked pizza since April 29.
This development strengthens Domino’s Pizza Malaysia’s position as the largest Domino’s market in Southeast Asia.
The brand now has 272 outlets in Malaysia, marking its 27th year in business.
Earlier, customers participated in a variety of thrilling activities, including limitless servings of sizzling hot pizzas fresh from Domino’s kitchen.
Domino’s Pizza serves a broad menu that includes meat, chicken, and vegetarian options, as well as value-for-money specials and delivery services. They provide absolutely free delivery with a 30-minute guarantee and a free regular pizza for future orders.
It is also offering limited-time promotions in Sarawak, including regular pizzas for RM30 and Boxku for RM9.90, exclusively for customers in the city.
