Have you ever wondered,
Why the rivulet is in such a hurry;
Or the stream gains momentum,
As it quickens its way downstream?
Have you ever wondered,
Where all the energy comes from;
In the eddies, currents and torrents?
And the river gets bigger and more powerful,
The closer it gets to the sea?
My child, know this:
It’s because every droplet of rain,
And every molecule of water,
And all together
They just can’t wait to be with the sea
To be united in that endless pool of water
To lose its separateness and false identity
To be one and wholesome all over again
To be, and being true, to being water
