Anggun’s first episode features Mila Jirin and Arabyrd

KUCHING: TVS has launched their latest show titled ‘Anggun’ (graceful) with its first episode featuring celebrity artistes Mila Jirin and Arabyrd which will be broadcasted every Sunday at 11.15 am.

Anggun’s producer, Siti Nurmadziah Abdul Karim said the show is TVS’s latest initiative to highlight various topics related to women.

She said that the show will feature four hosts which will differ every week for 10 consecutive weeks, to discuss different topics.

“The ‘Anggun’ series will feature several interesting segments, such as a segment titled ‘Anggun Care’ which will provide health tips and advice to television audiences.

“Additionally, ‘Anggun’ will also highlight women’s hobbies which have been rarely discussed,” she said in a press conference after launching the first episode of Anggun on TVS here on Sunday (May 12).

In its first episode, Siti Nurmadziah said the show will discuss compromises made by young mothers in managing career, family, and dealing with expectations.

She then revealed that the show’s first guests Mila Jirin and Arabyrd are both mothers who will share their experiences.

Siti Nurmadziah said the television programme will also feature the academic point of view and ‘Anggun’ will welcome Associate Professor Dr Surena Sabil, from the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development.

When asked about the objective of this show, she said that it was to uplift women and added that TVS wants to explore every corner of women’s lives, including fashion and business.

“Although this show is for women, all sections of society are welcome to watch.

“By involving more women in the production process of the show, TVS hopes to be able to embrace the various viewpoints and experiences of women, as well as inspire those who watch the show,” she said.
