KUCHING: Police are currently investigating a recent road rage incident involving two motorists at Jalan Bintawa on Monday.
An 18-second video clip, depicting the incident involving a Toyota Harrier and a Grab delivery motorcycle, had gone viral on social media.
In the clip, the driver can be seen armed with a long object, believed to be a wooden stick.
He confronted the rider and even attempted to swing the object at the rider.
Since then, the video has amassed over 60,000 views with 217 likes, 74 comments and 114 shares.
It was understood that one of the parties had lodged a police report regarding the incident.
Kuching police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah, when contacted, said that police were still investigating the case.
“The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code.
“Efforts are currently ongoing to identify and locate the suspect,” he said briefly.
