PETALING JAYA: Isuzu Malaysia launched its new 2024 Isuzu D-Max, featuring updated designs and enhanced technology yesterday (May 14).
Since its debut in 2021, the third-generation Isuzu D-Max has been a standout in the pick-up truck market, selling around 340,000 units globally.
Isuzu Malaysia CEO Shunsuke Okazoe highlighted the vehicle’s refreshed design elements and advanced features, ensuring it remains a leader in its class.
“Since its introduction, the third-generation Isuzu D-Max has been the toast of the industry, optimising a balance of classic Isuzu core strengths, technological advancements and detailed craftsmanship.
“This new model takes it up a notch and delivers the next level of pick-up truck motoring to its owners,” said Okazoe.
The 2024 model boasts significant updates, including a redesigned front end with new headlights, bumpers, grille, and bonnet, aimed at improving aerodynamics and road presence. Stylish new alloy rims and a revised tailgate add to its dynamic appearance.
Inside, the flagship D-Max X-Terrain features a 10-inch infotainment system, new leather seats, and ambient lighting. Enhanced safety features include a new stereo camera with a 120° view, improving the detection of objects and pedestrians.
Driveability is enhanced with the new Rough Terrain Mode available in all 4×4 Double Cab models, which optimises traction on rugged terrain.
To enhance the customer experience, Isuzu Malaysia is launching a new digital platform featuring Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) to explore the vehicle’s features. This platform includes an updated website, a 360° virtual showroom, and immersive roadshows.
Isuzu Malaysia is conducting a nationwide launch of the New Isuzu D-Max at all dealerships, offering exclusive gifts to those who test drive the vehicle between May 15 and June 30.
Prices start at RM101,270.30 for the 1.9-litre Single Cab, with the flagship X-Terrain priced at RM160,061.10 in Sarawak.
