KUCHING: The Land and Survey Department (LSD) has halted unauthorised rock material transfers in Bintulu, seizing 17 heavy machines in a decisive operation.

In a statement, this activity was detected as a result of patrols and the case would be investigated under section 32A of the State Land Code (Chapter 81).

It was an offense to conduct excavation or transfer of rock materials without a license issued by the department.
