DALAT: A retaining wall project at Sungai Kut Muara near here is expected to be completed next month.
“The site is actually where locals berth their boats, especially those using land transport to go to Sungai Bazaar or Dalat Bazaar and beyond.
“After all, Sungai Kut-Dalat Road runs right by this canal,” said the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) chairman David Ulis.
This is one of the ongoing federal government projects being implemented in the area. The cost is around RM350,000.
