SEPANG: AirAsia is expanding its connectivity by introducing a new direct route from Kota Kinabalu (KK) to Manado, Indonesia, marking its second route from Sabah to Indonesia.
Set to commence on September 1, the service will operate three times a week.
With the addition of this route, AirAsia will offer a total of 13 international routes with 83 weekly flights to and from Kota Kinabalu starting in September 2024.
To celebrate the launch, AirAsia is offering free seats from Kota Kinabalu to Manado, priced at RM139 all-in one-way. Meanwhile, from Manado to KK it is priced at IDR468,020 all-in one way.
Manado, the capital of North Sulawesi, is known for its captivating underwater scenery and mountain views.
Visitors can explore Bunaken Marine Park, known for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life, or trek Mount Klabat to enjoy the mountainous panoramas, presenting a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and natural beauty.
Interested customers can book directly on the AirAsia MOVE app and airasia.com until June 16, for travel between September 1 and March 28, 2025.
