KUCHING: The wife of Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak (TYT), Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, joined the netball players of the Sarawak Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) in a training session held at the Sarawak Foundation International School hall here on Wednesday (June 5).

According to a statement, the two-hour programme provided an opportunity for Fauziah to interact with and encourage the Sarawak IPK netball players.

Sarawak’s head of Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (KJIPS), who is also the adviser for the Royal Malaysian Police Sarawak Contingent Netball Convenor, ACP Roselina Daud said the morning training session was organised as part of the team’s preparation for the Sarawak Police Commissioner’s Cup (PJP), which will be held from June 11 to 13.

“The National Police Chief’s Cup (KPN) will take place from July 3 to 6 in Terengganu. During the PJP Championship, we will select players who will represent the Sarawak contingent at the KPN Cup.

“A total of 16 individuals, comprising 13 players, managers, and a physiotherapist, will be chosen for this purpose,” she said.
