SEBUYAU: Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi joined the Muslim community in Sebuyau and Sebangan to celebrate the Hari Raya Aidiladha today.

He said that he performed the Aidiladha prayers and then joined the local residents for the ‘ibadah korban’ (Islamic sacrificial ritual) at Al-Muflihin Mosque in Sebuyau.

“Later, the sacrificial meat was also distributed to the residents from nearby towns and villages,” he said in a Facebook post today (June 17).

“The spirit of cooperation and consensus among the local community are remarkably strong at both ceremonies,” he said.

Meanwhile, among those present were Sebuyau District Officer Ayuradiman Bujang, Sarawak Administrative Officer (SAO) Tahir Putih, SAO Ajis Ahmad, and local community leaders.
