BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar had an audience with His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at Istana Nurul Iman here on Monday.
Wan Junaidi accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi arrived at the palace at 11.30am.
Accompanying him were Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.
Present during the audience was His Majesty’s wife, Pengiran Anak Saleha Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Mohamed Alam.
After the meeting, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah drove Wan Junaidi in his own car to luncheon at the Palace.
After their lunch session, Wan Junaidi along with his wife and entourage left the Palace at 1 pm.
Later, Wan Junaidi visited the Islamic Treasure Hall of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah at Jalan Pengiran Babu Raja and attended dinner at the Royal Dining Dome with the delegation.
On the third day of the official visit tomorrow (June 25), Wan Junaidi and his entourage will tour the Brunei History Centre and explore the Brunei River before returning to Sarawak at 2.30pm.
