MIRI: Two areas in Senadin – Kampung Sealine Senadin Jaya and Jalan MCOT Senadin, experienced flooding following a King Tide phenomenon on today.
The flood water level reached approximately half a foot, causing minor disruptions in the local community. However roads leading to the areas remained open to traffic.
Monitoring of the areas revealed that the flood water was slowly abating.
Authorities have confirmed that the situation remains under control and safe.
Meanwhile, the villagers have been advised to stay vigilant and to evacuate if the situation becomes unsafe.
The local Civil Defence Force (APM) promptly responded to the incident, arriving at both locations at 1:53 pm on Monday.
While the current conditions are manageable, residents are urged to monitor updates from local authorities and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
