BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi departed for Kuching at 3pm, today (June 25) after concluding a three-day official working visit to Brunei Darussalam.

Accompanying them were Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and his wife, Datuk Dayang Morliah Datuk Awang Daud, along with Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and his wife, Datin Amar Baduyah Bujang.

Before their departure, Wan Junaidi and his entourage enjoyed a 45-minute Brunei River cruise, exploring the beautiful and historical significance of the Brunei River.

The cruise offered a relaxing experience while providing insights into the rich history of the area.

Among the highlights was the sight of Kampung Ayer, a village renowned for its lively atmosphere, despite the many changes it has undergone. The noise of mining boats and villagers walking on the bridge contributed to its vibrant environment.

The Awang Semaun Secondary School’s infrastructure built on water also attracted attention.

Earlier in the day, Wan Junaidi and his entourage visited the Brunei History Centre.
