KUCHING: The third Borneo Illustration and Creative Festival (BIC3) will be held at La Promenade Mall, Kota Samarahan on July 13-28.
It is once again being organised by the Creative Umbrella Co. and supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts.
The festival is open to all visitors free of charge and selected artwork by artists will be put up for sale at the Art Exhibition Hall for the duration of the event.
“We will be hosting several programmes, including the art exhibition, vendor market, workshops, sharing sessions, public interactive art, photo booth and others. BIC is here to bring you the bundle of joy all in one,” it said in a press statement.
“Most importantly, we aim at providing a platform for all artistic talents to showcase their artwork, networking, sharing ideas, sell their works, and most importantly building an artistic community/family (BICfam), further enhancing the diverse cultural artistic beauty of Sarawak and complementing the Tourism Calendar.”
It added that this year’s theme is “The Cultural Beauty of Sarawak”.
The festival will be open on weekdays from 9am to 6pm and from 8am to 9pm during he weekend.
