KUCHING: Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Ragad Kurdi Taib presented a contribution from the Ragad Foundation to the Children’s Art Organisation of Bandarsah Kuching (PASBK) at the Satok State Legislative Assembly Hall.

This initiative was part of the Tun Taib Link of Love programme, benefiting 50 recipients from the surrounding community.

During the programme, Ragad also handed over a mock cheque of RM5,000 to PASBK for their artistic and welfare activities.

“The Tun Taib Link of Love programme is an initiative by the Ragad Foundation to assist the community in conjunction with the celebration of Maal Hijrah 1446H,” according to a statement today (July 9).

“The choice of Satok area is significant as it marks the early life of former Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, the late Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, when he moved to Kuching as a school student before pursuing further studies in Australia.”

The Ragad Foundation operates under the patronage of the late Taib, with Ragad serving as the permanent chairperson. Its members consist of dedicated volunteers committed to aiding those in need.
