The Sarawak Day Prayer Service, themed ‘May They All Be One’, provides an opportunity for Christians from various denominations to come together, as Sarawak Day approaches on July 22, to commemorate the historic independence of Sarawak since 1963.

“We encourage all Christians to come together to pray for peace, harmony and prosperity for Sarawak, its people and the leaders.

“All Christians are invited to participate in this special occasion and together, we can celebrate our shared faith and reaffirming our commitment to a prosperous and united Sarawak.

“This is an Ecumenical service so, members of our Association of Churches comprising of the Catholic Church, the Anglican Church, the Borneo Evangelical Mission and others are all invited for this prayer service”, said Reverend Father Felix Au, the Rector of Sacred Heart Parish and also the organising chairperson for Sarawak Day Prayer Service.
