KUCHING: The Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia, Danielle Heinecke, visited the Borneo Cultures Museum, here on today (July 16).

During her visit, she toured various exhibits that showcase the rich cultural heritage of Borneo and engaged with museum staff.

The visit highlighted the deep-rooted and enduring relationship between Australia and Malaysia, demonstrating the strong ties and mutual appreciation that have developed over the years.

Before the tour commenced, Heinecke signed the visitor book and received a memento from the museum’s curator, Yasmin Khalid Nicholls.

Heinecke spent nearly an hour exploring the museum, immersing herself in its exhibits and displays.

After concluding her visit to the museum, she proceeded to Swinburne Sarawak, where she participated in a site tour and attended an event for the university’s alumni.
