A finger pointing, as if making a point
So it seems, right across the sky;
Or is it a metaphor of writing on the wall,
The wall of the parchment in the sky?

And were all the skies of parchment be,
What a huge scroll, to transcribe the Truth
Even such a scroll, to contain the whole be
It’s a hopeless ambition, an empty feat.

Though stretched from sky to sky,
End to end, the endless universe may be,
And to add more, a thousand skies more;
Still, it will never ever contain, a bit of the whole.

As in the words of the song —
“The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell!”
Transcending Infinity, and the beyond of beyond

“It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell”
“The guilty pair, bowed down with care;”
So goes the line — O how deep is such love!

Were all the oceans be — with ink filled
And all of the skies, made a parchment be
And every blade of grass, made a quill be
And every man who ever lived, a scribe be.

Perchance to write of Love
And of the Divine bounties, and beauty
To make manifest, of the hidden mysteries;
Ain’t no scroll — will ever be wide enough.
