KUCHING: The Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) and the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) will be organising a dog vaccination programme tomorrow (July 20).
The council said the vaccination programme will take place from 9 am to 3 pm at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) Chung Hua Batu Kawa’s basketball court.
“Free anti-rabies vaccinations for dogs, dog licensing, microchipping, and neutering subsidies will be provided on the same day at the venue,” the council said in a statement today.
A RM150 subsidy for the spaying of female dogs will also be offered by the council; however, it is limited to the first 50 female dogs with a Padawan Municipal Council dog licence and vaccination.
“The public should bring their identification cards, pet vaccination records, and related pet vaccination information to ensure compliance with the application and vaccination requirements,” the council added.
