PEKAN: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, has presented a donation to the family of murder victim, the late Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah.

The Pahang Sultanate in its Facebook page said the donation was delivered by his son, Brigadier-General Tengku Panglima Raja Tengku Amir Nasser Ibrahim Shah.

Tengku Amir had visited the family of the deceased at the residence of her sister-in-law in Kampung Nyiur Manis here on Friday (July 19).

“His Highness arrived at 11am and spent about half an hour with the deceased’s mother, Salmah Abdullah, and other family members present at the house before presenting the donation.”

Expressing his condolences and sympathy, Tengku Amir also conveyed his heartfelt condolences and hoped that the mother and the entire family of the deceased would stay strong in facing this ordeal.

The late Nur Farah, from Miri, was laid to rest at the Kampung Nyiur Manis Cemetery at 5.20pm on Thursday (July 18).

She was found dead in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, Hulu Selangor, at around 6pm on Monday (July 15).

Nur Farah had been reported missing since July 10, after delivering a rental car to a customer.

Later, a 26-year-old policeman was arrested to assist in the investigation related to the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code. He will be remanded until July 22.
