KOTA KINABALU: MASwings is taking off to new heights in its support of cultural celebrations with additional flights between Miri (MYY) and Bario (BBN), Sarawak, in anticipation of the vibrant Pesta Nukenen 2024.
These extra services, available from July 24 to 30, 2024, are strategically timed to ensure seamless travel for attendees of the 17th edition of the Bario Food & Cultural Festival, held from July 25 to 27, 2024.
“Introducing additional flights from Miri to Bario for this specific period provides convenient travel options for our customers and supporting the Sarawak Tourism Board’s efforts to promote domestic tourism,” said Suresh Singam, chief operating officer of MASwings in a statement.
“The extra daily frequency into Bario (BBN) from Miri (MYY) is planned as follows: Flights from Miri to Bario currently operate 21 times weekly.
“There will be an additional eight flights from July 24 to July 30 (one additional flight daily and two extra flights on July 25),” he added.
