KUCHING: Serapi Hotel, located at Jalan Kulas 1, boasts the best of Sarawak’s culinary traditions at its Seri Songket Restaurant.

“The lunch buffet is available every Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 2pm. The dinner buffet is served every Monday from 6pm to 9:30 pm, and the high-tea buffet is available every Sunday from 2pm to 5pm,”said Sales and Marketing Manager Geofery Edward John.
According to him, the menu is carefully crafted based on guest feedback and features a variety of local Sarawak dishes, ensuring a different culinary experience for each session.
Serapi Hotel’s buffet includes dishes such as chicken, prawns, beef, lamb, vegetables, local herbs, and various condiments like belacan and sambal belacan.
“Desserts include local cakes, fruits, and traditional sweets. The restaurant also offers special soups weekly, including bone soup, gearbox soup, and potato chicken soup,”he said.
“Among the hotel’s signature dishes are the Sweet Black Beef, potato lamb curry, and the popular grilled lamb fried rice, priced at an affordable RM26.50. The emphasis is on fresh, hot meals prepared in-house, ensuring the highest quality,”said Geofery.
The hotel’s culinary team consists of four experienced chefs, ensuring all dishes meet high standards of quality and taste.
In addition to its restaurant, Serapi Hotel offers five function halls for various events, including government seminars, weddings, reunions and birthday parties.
Buffet packages start at RM52 per person, with dome settings and Chinese set menus also available.
The hotel provides comprehensive event services, including hall setup, PA systems, projectors, VIP parking, and free parking for 50 cars.
