A joint patrol by the First Infantry Division and the Indonesian Army (TNI-AD) have spotted the individuals around 9.45am, about 200 metres from the Indonesia-Malaysia border, according to a press statement yesterday (July 19).
“The suspects, aged between 20 and 47, were found without illegal items and carried goods worth RM3,790.
“Following standard procedures, they were escorted back to the border and handed over to Indonesian authorities,” it said.
