KUCHING: Kuching City FC players have arrived in the Kedah capital of  Alor Setar for their Malaysian Super League clash against Kedah Darul Aman FC.

The anticipated encounter between the Canaries and the Cats will be on Friday, July 26 at 9 pm, at Stadium Darul Aman.

There is a positive mood around the Kuching City FC camp, after a win against PDRM FC previously, and the players are expected to continue their winning form away from home.

Kuching City FC currently sit in seventh in the league, below Kedah Darul Aman FC, both with six points.

The Cats will be counting on Ghanaian forward Jordan Mintah who was instrumental against PDRM with his big stature and constant runs behind the defensive lines which were a nuisance for opposing defenders.

The 28-year old helped secure three points for his team after a 90th minute penalty and an early assist to Danial Amier who slotted it home for an early goal.

Aidil Sharin will be hoping for more of the same from his players and despite playing away from home, the Cats have shown what it takes to beat their opponents.

With a win, three draws and one loss, there is an overall belief that the away team can snatch a win which could bring them up in the table.
