BINTULU: A raging afternoon fire had completely destroyed four semi- permanent houses at Kampung Baru Tatau today (July 26).
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre was alerted about the incident at 3.26 pm with firefighters from the Tatau and Bintulu fire stations responded swiftly and rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, the firefighters discovered that the four houses have been completely engulfed by fire.
Moreover, the firefighters also discovered four vehicles were partially burned because of the blaze.
Fortunately, no casualties and injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
