SIBU: More than 100 nurses and their families enjoyed a day of fun and bonding at the SCNA Sibu Division Family Day held at Permai Lake Garden today (July 27).
The event was officiated by Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Alice Lau Kiong Yieng, with SCNA Sibu Division chairperson Anita Suppi also in attendance.
“We often only hear our colleagues’ voices on the phone, but don’t know what they look like,” she said.
“As the saying goes, ‘If you don’t know, then you don’t love’.
The event helped strengthen their bonds and unity, aligning with the government’s Malaysia Madani and ‘Segulai Sejalai’ aspirations.
The Lanang MP commended the nurses for their role in public service that excels not only in its delivery but also in fostering a strong sense of community.
