MIRI: The Miri Chicken Hash House Harriers donated RM14,180 worth of items to enhance patient comfort at Miri Hospital.

The group of 61 members contributed pillows with durable PVC covers, air conditioners, chairs, and tables.

Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew commended the local community for their continuous support and care for each other, as well as the hospital staff for their tireless work in ensuring patient well-being.

He was speaking at the donation handover ceremony at the hospital today (Aug 6).The c

eremony also included tours of Ward 7 (Male Orthopaedic), the construction site of the Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) building, and the Adults Day Care Centre.

They also visited the new Blood Collection Centre.

Also present were hospital director Dr Jack Wong and members of the Miri City Council (MCC).
