KUCHING: Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) is set to organise the National Conference on Educational Exploration (PKEP) from Oct 8 to 10 at Hotel Casuarina Meru in Ipoh, Perak.
The conference will serve as a platform for knowledge sharing on the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in the field of educational technology.
Dr Nordiana Hamzah, the director of the Pejabat Karang Mengarang, stated that the conference aims to increase the visibility of UPSI’s journals and foster collaboration with various agencies to enhance these publications.
The theme of the conference is “Leading Education Through Artificial Intelligence.”
The conference will host two prominent AI experts in education associate Professor Dr Azizi Abd Aziz from Universiti Utara Malaysia and Associate Professor Dr Bahbibi Rahmatullah from UPSI.
A unique feature of the conference is the “Article Writing Workshop Using AI Applications,” which will be conducted by Dr Muhammad Fadzilah Zaini from UPSI. This workshop aims to equip participants with skills in utilising AI for academic writing.
Participants will have the opportunity to publish their work in journals produced by UPSI, which are indexed with e-ISSN.
The conference is open to postgraduate students, university lecturers, educational institutions, officials from the Malaysian Ministry of Education, industry practitioners, and interested individuals from both within and outside Malaysia.
