SERIAN: The measurement of 339 Native Customary Rights (NCR) land in Kampung Tangga Plaman, Sungai Tamba, and Pulau Tamba Cina here are expected to commence in August this year.
In relation to this, a dialogue session was held to provide detailed explanations and clarifications regarding the approval for individual NCR land measurements in the affected areas of Sungai Tangga, Kampung Tangga Plaman, and Pulau Tamba Cina.
During the event, the Land and Survey Department (JTS) acknowledged that the NCR land documentation project initiative introduced by the Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) had significantly facilitated and expedited the NCR land measurement process.
To further streamline the land measurement work, the JTS has also requested landowners to provide full cooperation and support to ensure the smooth progress of the measurement process.
Also present were the Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Henry Harry Jinep and Advisor in the Sarawak Premier’s Office (Education) Datuk Amar Michael Manyin Jawong.
