SRI AMAN: Renovation work on the Sri Aman Indoor Stadium, the designated venue for boxing events during the 21st Malaysia Games (Sukma) Sarawak 2024, is now fully completed, says Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development, Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu.

He stated that the stadium now only requires the installation of equipment and facilities for the upcoming event.

“I am satisfied with the impressive performance of the contractor, who successfully completed a spacious and comfortable venue for the athletes within the stipulated time.”

Rentap made these remarks during a recent media visit to the Sri Aman Indoor Stadium.

As the chef de mission for the Sarawak contingent, he urged the public to show their support for the upcoming sports competition.

“Since boxing is a major attraction and highlight of Sukma, the public should come to witness and cheer on the Sarawak athletes who will be competing,” he added.
