KUCHING: The Sarawak men and women’s taekwondo teams clinched the gold in the Recognised Poomsae final category.
Held at the Unity Stadium, Petra Jaya here today, the men’s team of Fedalis Kom Twin, Mohd Issharil Mazlan and Randy Owen Augustine Linggi scored 8.02, surpassing Federal Territories, Perak and Kelantan
The women’s team of Farah Nabilla Maddarus, Siti Yusriyyah and Willemien Lai Lini obtained the 7.70 points, beating Sabah, Johor and Federal Territories.
The prize giving is set to be held later this afternoon, officiated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
