KUCHING: Esther Law Lee Poh, Sarawak’s distinguished woman entrepreneur, has been honoured with the 2024 Great Asean Entrepreneur Award.

The founder and chairlady of YAST Group, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the organisers for the award.

She stated that receiving the prestigious award not only recognises her efforts but also highlights the hard work and dedication of her mentors, partners, team, and employees.

“Your unwavering support has been a milestone in achieving our goals,” she said, dedicating it to her YAST members.

For the record, YAST operates in diverse fields including healthcare, humanities education, real estate development, and equity investment.

In conjunction with ASEAN Day 2024, the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, in collaboration with the ASEAN Economic Club and the World Trade Network, hosted the 2024 Great Asean Entrepreneur Award to recognise and honour entrepreneurs who have made outstanding contributions to regional growth and economic prosperity in the ASEAN region.

The prestigious award ceremony is organised to recognise and celebrate the contributions of outstanding individuals through this award ceremony.

Furthermore, Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg was also present at the award ceremony and received the Great ASEAN Distinguished Leadership Excellence Award, while Sarawak Economic Development Corporation chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Husain was honored with the Great Asean Entrepreneur Award.
