KUCHING: The Sarawak SUKMA mixed lawn bowls team tops Group T after four consecutive victories.
The duo of Awang Mohammad Sharszan F. Awang Nasaruddin and Nur Syurhaidah Asaral extended their winning streak by defeating the pair from Kelantan, Muhammad Aireel Zaqwan Iruaniss and Wan Amalin Aqilah Wan Mohammad Zailani, with a score of 13-8 on Sunday.
Sarawak Lawn Bowls head coach, Nur Fithri Yaani Hamdin, said this position at the top of the group would be an advantage as it would allow them to advance to the semi-final on Monday.
This afternoon they will face Penang, and this will be the decisive match for them.
The final match of the Group T competition will determine which team will advance to the next stage.
