KUCHING: The finals of the tennis tournament in the ongoing 21st Malaysia Games (SUKMA) will continue at the Sarawak Lawn Tennis Association (SLTA) court this morning.
Originally scheduled to end on Thursday (Aug 22), the tournament was delayed due to the heavy rain yesterday.
In the women’s double finals, Sarawak represented by Soo Hui Yii and Lydia Liong will face Selangor’s Saw Jo Leen and Sharifah Elsa Wan Abdul Rahman.
Meanwhile, in the finals of the mixed double match, Sarawak’s Liong and Hii Shieng Wee will compete against Perak’s Mitsuki Leong and Shihomi Leong.
The competition features five tennis events, namely men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed events.
