KUCHING: Negeri Sembilan have dominated Perak in the intense and edge-of-the-seat Mobile Legend: Bang Bang (MLBB) Grand Finals today.
Negeri Sembilan secured the gold medal after winning 3-2 against Perak, which went down to the wire.
They are represented by Jin Gian Lim, Mohammad Zyedanshah Sabari, Muhammad Al-Amin Mohd Zamri, Muhammad Hadif Iqbal, Muhammad Hazril Haziq Khairol, and Muhammad Shahrul Nasser.
The hard fought competition between the two states in a best-of-five series, lasted for almost three hours.
The grand finals started with Perak taking the lead in the first match. Negeri Sembilan later dominated the second and third match.
Perak won the fourth match and forced a decider match with Negeri Sembilan.
Negeri Sembilan won the decider match in an intense match after conquering four ‘Lords’ in the game to destroy the opposition’s turrets and towers.
Perak will have to settle with the silver medal with their team comprising Harriz Ashman Mohamad Razid, Mohamad Ammar Ahmad Jamalulail, Mohamad Faizal Zainol, Muhammad Akmal Harith Alias, Muhammad Ammar Irfan Zainal and Muhammad Diniy Darwisy Zamri.
Meanwhile, the bronze medal was won by Kelantan’s squad comprising Ahmad Zaim Faezi Fauzi, Muhammad Azrul Izani Mohamad, Muhammad Hakimi Ramzi Mohd Mahyudin, Wan Aidil Amin Wan Azahar, Wan Aidil Hakim Wan Azahar, and Wan Mohamad Azizzuddin Wan Mohd Adnan.
