MUKAH: The My Lesen B2 (motorcycle) programme for the Tellian and Balingian State Legislative Assembly (DUN) areas has received an encouraging response from the public.
A total of 1,187 and 635 eligible participants have qualified in the DUN Balingian and DUN Tellian respectively.
This program was jointly organised by Telliana assemblyman Royston Valentine and Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi.
In hi Facebook page, Royston congratulated the participants who were qualified for the program.
“For those who were not eligible and not listed, it is due to several reasons such as being blacklisted by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the Road Transport Department (JPJ).
“Additionally, some were ineligible due to not meeting the age requirement by September 13, 2024, not being citizens, or have already possessed a motorbike license,” he said.
The fee for this programme is set at RM250, with the payment deadline on Thursday, September 12.
Payments can be made at Akademi Memandu Setia Sdn Bhd, and only cash payments will be accepted; online payments are not allowed.
Payment hours are from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
