BINTULU: Installation work for solar lights along the road from Kampung Warisan Jepak to the Marine Police and Customs Operations Office in Bintulu has now begun.

The implementation of this project is the result of discussions between residents’ representatives and the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA), led by its General Manager, Datuk Muhammad Yakub Kari.

This project is expected to enhance road safety, especially at night, and will greatly benefit the local community.

This is part of the Jepak Jaya development initiative, planned to improve infrastructure and the quality of life for residents in the area.

Meanwhile, Jepak Assemblyman, Iskandar Turkee, mentioned that this project is the result of productive discussions and demonstrates BDA’s commitment to listening to and fulfilling the needs of the community.

“Alhamdulillah, this is a very meaningful achievement. Thank you to all parties involved in making this project a success,” he said.

He hopes that the project can be completed within the stipulated time frame, providing long-term benefits to the residents of Kampung Warisan Jepak and the surrounding areas.
