SIBU: The road repair work on Lorong Kampung Jeriah Barat 5 has been completed.
According to Mohamad Abdullah Izkandar Roseley, the deputy chairman of the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC), the repair work was finished on Thursday (Sept 3).
“The road was repaired by a developer based in Kuching, who is responsible for the development of Lot 337 at Kampung Jeriah,” he stated in a Facebook post today (Sept 5).
The road had been damaged by heavy vehicles used during the construction of Lot 337.
Izkandar, who praised the responsible actions of the developer, also issued a stern warning to other developers who caused damage to roads.
“Any developer using heavy vehicles and causing damage to roads must repair them.
“This must be completed within the timeframe set by the council,” he emphasised.
