KUALA BALINGIAN: The Balingian Information Department (JaPen) recently organised the Jiwa Komuniti Madani Programme at the Kuala Mas Balingian Madani Community Level, held at the Hawker Centre here.

This programme aims to disseminate government initiatives , information and policies based on the Malaysia Madani concept.

Additionally, face-to-face sessions like this are more effective as they allow the direct sharing of information and the immediate gathering of feedback, especially concerning issues arising.

Such methods remain relevant despite the advancements in information technology.

During the same programme, JaPen Balingian, together with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Mukah Division, organised the Mobile Madani Rahmah Sale here.

Penghulu Marzuki Sahari expressed his gratitude to JaPen Balingian and KPDN Mukah Division for implementing this initiative and bringing the Mobile Madani Rahmah Sale to Kuala Balingian.

“This is the first time such a programme has been held here, as this area is quite remote. Certainly, it can help the people in line with the ‘Kedai Cari Rakyat’ initiative.

“The residents of Kuala Balingian and more than 10 nearby longhouses, stretching up to the Serupai Bridge on the Bintulu-Mukah border, can benefit from this service.

“I hope that such programmes will continue in the future and be held more frequently,” he said.
