The sea is calm now, and reflecting
Its surface a perfect glass, of a mirror
Catch a glimpse, of your face this morning
Getting a hint, of your present demeanour
Perchance your soul too, could reflect
Knowing she is here to stay, but of you
You are just a stranger, passing through
Like the clouds above, one moment here, gone the next
Yes, gone with the mountain winds, to the beyond
A call to watch, what your hands would do
To pay heed to where your steps, take you
And think always, of the lake’s lesson is on
For there, the lake it will still lie
Long after we have parted ways
A perpetual reminder, to always come by
To revisit this place, with its hollowed ways
