SEBUYAU: Muslims are encouraged to embrace the spirit of Maulidur Rasul and strive for success in all areas of life.
Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi said this spirit should inspire individuals to pursue success and progress while following the example of Prophet Muhammad.
“As such, the Maulidur Rasul celebration is important for reflecting on the life and struggles of the Prophet Muhammad and fostering love for him,” he said his speech during the Sebuyau district Maulidur Rasul celebration at the Al-Muflihin Mosque yesterday (Sept 16).
Julaihi, who is also Sebuyau assemblyman, expressed hope that the celebration would motivate everyone to live faithfully and practice righteousness.
Meanwhile, the event featured a procession starting from Darul Kurnia Kampung Jalan Sawmil Surau to Al-Muflihin Mosque and was accompanied by selawat (praises) for the Prophet Muhammad.
Among those present were Sebuyau District Officer Ayuradiman Bujang, Al-Muflihin Sebuyau Mosque chairman Arifin Takif, and Pemanca Asli Yahya.
