KUCHING: Malaysian girl pop group Dolla will hold their meet-and-greet session this coming Sept 29 in conjunction with the 2024 Borneo Sonic Music Festival.
The session will be held at Plaza Merdeka here at 4 pm, encouraging fans to show their enthusiasm and support.
It is part of the countdown towards the music festival as well called Borneo Sonic Roadshow (Sept 28 and 29).
Set to take place this coming Oct 11 to 12 at the state stadium, the 2024 Borneo Sonic Music Festival will bring together some of the biggest names in music industry across Asia to deliver a diverse pop music experience, and this year, the festival will attract 36,000 music lovers from around the world.
“The line-up features prominent artists such as Korean superstar Rain, hip-hop sensation Jessi, GOT7 member Youngjae, and Indonesian pop Icon Judika and Bunga Citra Lestari.
“Alongside Dolla, Malaysian talents including Yuna, Jess Lee, and Priscilla Abby will also take the stage,” the organisers said in a press release.
Additionally, the festival will showcase Thailand’s leading girl group 4EVE and Malaysian musical innovator Namewee.
To enrich the Borneo Sonic experience, emerging Korean artists Junny Junny, Dj Ujoo and Yoon Seobin will perform, along with Malaysian idol Thomas, internet sensation Zed-X, the Australian EDM duo Slumberjack, Dutch singer Natalie La Rose, and renowned Malaysian Dj Blink, all set to deliver exciting live performances.
Borneo Sonic will host a four-day ‘Borneo Sonic Food Carnival’ from Oct 9-12 outside of the state stadium, featuring 50 food brands offering unique culinary experiences.
On the morning of Oct 12, the ‘Borneo Sonic Music Fun’ will kick off, inviting the public to participate in a fun 3km and 5km run. Camping enthusiasts can also enjoy a glamping experience outside the stadium.
Music lovers and travel enthusiasts have been urged to join the music festival and experience the extraordinary musical event.
