KUCHING: The Sarawak State Library will host the Sarawak Children’s Literature Festival (SCLF) on Octo 5 and 6 at its library.

The two-day event will offer children the chance to explore 12 distinct zones filled with engaging activities aimed at nurturing creativity, enhancing social skills, and cultivating a love for reading.

“More than 50 partners from various agencies, companies, and organisations have come together to support this year’s festival, which will run from 9 am to 6 pm each day. The festival will also feature storytellers from both local and international backgrounds, creating an enriching experience for all attendees.

“Designed to be an interactive and educational event, the SCLF promises a wide range of activities for children of all ages, including hands-on workshops, musical and dance performances, storytelling sessions, games, and an array of stalls.

“These experiences are tailored to foster creativity and build essential skills in a fun, inclusive atmosphere,” the state library said in a press release today.
